District 3 is comprised of Sunnyvale, Milpitas and the northern neighborhoods of San José, including Alviso & Berryessa, and extends to our northeastern border where the counties of Alameda, Stanislaus and San Joaquin meet. District 3 features many of the best and beautiful parts of Santa Clara County, and deep connections to our history and future.

Prior to the 2021 Redistricting Process, District 3 included the neighborhoods of East Foothills, Evergreen and Rosemary Gardens in San José. The East Foothills and Rosemary Gardens are now a part of Supervisorial District 2 and Evergreen is now a part of Supervisorial District 1.
